WWE Speed Title Tournament 1st Round -Axiom vs JD McDonaugh
Ax hits chops and JD fires back with his own. Ax sleepers him then half-nelson suplexes him on his head for 2. Ax moonsaults off the top rope onto him outside. Ax comes off the top and takes a dropkick in mid-air. Ax high kicks him then JD spinning lariats him. Ax turns a powerbomb into a hurricanrana for 2. They lariat each other and both go down.
They slap and forearm each other on their knees. JD hits forearms then Ax cradles him for 2. Ax hits a pumping knee and misses a golden ratio kick. Ax hits a knee out of a devil inside attempt then JD headbutts him and wins it with 35 seconds remaining.
Well, what do you really say about a two minute match? It was fast paced and they did what they could to keep it interesting. JD winning with a headbutt was something different. They pushed that wrestlers could try to knock the other out and maybe they were going for that with JD.
JD says whoever he faces next, they don't want to come face to face with The Irish Ace.
Overall thoughts: There was only one match here and it was only 2 minutes long. It wasn't a must see match but they did the best they could with the time limit.
